The Gallery is Full of new Visual treats for Christmas

Words & Pictures Gallery is running on longer opening hours from Saturday until (and including) Christmas eve. If you cant get to us during the day - contact the gallery and we can probably arrange to open in the evening especially for you.

We have had a huge influx of new art and I'm still in the process of adding new work to the website. In the interim here are a few images of the new pieces we have that are literally piled on the gallery floor because we have run out of wall space. If you see something you are interested in drop me a line and I will give you more details and reserve it for you.

So from Saturday we will be open from 9.15am to 5.00pm every day and from 11.00am - 3.00pm on Sunday 19th December.

Art is an amazing thing to give as a gift, it fulfils so many worthy criteria. Its locally made, supports a wealth of local businesses, hand made, unique, fairly priced, adds to the richness of your environment, cheers the soul and lifts your spirits, says something about your personality, very few ecologically unsound import and transportation miles. But please remember: art is for life - not just for Christmas!
