We are in 'Devon Life' Magazine!

Teignmouth is featured in the August edition of 'Devon Life' magazine, the article is called '24 hours in Teignmouth and includes a page of the top things to do and see in the town and there we are! It's only a small piece but considering there are at least 9 other galleries and a whole bunch of artists studios in Teignmouth i'm really thrilled and honoured to have even a little mention.

There is also a double page spread about the mosaic work in Teignmouth and its significant influence on the character of the town. Much of this has been designed and promoted by Michelle Greenwood-Brown. Significantly for us Michelle is using the gallery, alongside glass artist Amy McCarthy, as the venue for 'Devon Open Studios' in September. This is a massive privilege for Words & Pictures Gallery - both artists are 'big-wheels' in Devon and have a won slew of commissions and awards this year for their work... more details about 'Devon Open Studios' in my next blog.
