Ann Mari Hopkins lives in Paignton on the South Devon coast where she runs a ceramic studio producing hand made tiles and domestic pottery.

This hand made 'unicorn' earthenware tile can be fixed in position like any normal ceramic tile but it also has a small hole in the back so it came be hung from a nail.

These will survive outside but it would be best to waterproof the unglazed back and sides to prevent water penetration and frost damage.

Measures 11.5cm x 9cm and about 1cm deep
