An exquisite little painting by Heidi Archer using her well established palette and visual language. Archer has an enviable reputation for producing tightly composed stylised landscapes that provide just enough information to suggest man made intervention on land and sea. She uses oils but through a highly disciplined use of masks and careful application and removal of paint the surface has a near perfect appearance of a printed surface.
These are jaw-droopingly perfect!
