Martin Jones lives and works on the South Devon coast drawing his visual research from the coastline and the weather patterns peculiar to it. His interpretation pulls on the experiance of being in those locations and the uncompromising weather conditions that change the light and atmosphere so dramatically. His uses an ominous pallette with theatrical overtones creating these forboding landscapes that do leave you understanding the 'smallness' of your presence.
